L’Oréal has announced plans to invest approximately ₹3,500 crore (around €350 million) over the next five years to establish a dedicated Beauty Tech Hub in Hyderabad.
The centre is expected to be inaugurated in November 2026 and will employ around 2,000 specialised technology professionals. The facility will support development of digital platforms and advanced technologies including artificial intelligence, generative AI, agentic AI and data analytics for the company’s global operations.

The Hyderabad centre will collaborate with L’Oréal’s existing technology hubs located in France, the United States, China, Singapore, Spain, Poland, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.
The Global Capability Centre will function as a central hub for innovation, technology development, supply-chain analytics and digital transformation initiatives across the group.
The announcement followed discussions between Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and L’Oréal CEO Nicolas Hieronimus during the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland. The company also indicated that it may explore the possibility of establishing a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad in the future.
