EXPORTS of Ayush and herbal products for the month of November, 2025, stood stagnant at $43.6 million compared to $43.5 million registered in the same month of previous fiscal year. This is following a decline of 33% reported in the month of October, on a Year-over-Year (YoY) basis.
The decline in value terms during the month is despite a 14.24% growth in quantity of exports at 9,332.4 MT during November, 2025, compared to 8,169.4 MT during the same month a year ago.
In rupee terms, exports reported a growth of 5.55% during the month, at Rs. 387.25 crore, as compared to Rs. 366.87 crore registered in November, 2024, according to data from the Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence and Statistics (DGCI&S).

Cumulative exports during the first eight months of the fiscal year witnessed a decline of 7.07% at $419.5 million as compared to $451.4 million registered in the same period a year ago.
In rupee terms, the cumulative exports from April to November, 2025 witnessed a decline of 3.64% at Rs. 3,641.7 crore, as compared to Rs. 3,779.5 crore in the corresponding period of previous year.
In terms of quantity, decline during the eight months was around 1.54% at 79,307.8 MT as against 80,551.6 MT during the same period last year.
Imports of Ayush and herbal products during the month of November grew 27% to $15.06 million from $11.85 million on a YoY basis. In rupee terms, this was a 33.7% growth at Rs. 133.75 crore as against Rs. 100.02 crore in the same month of last year.
Quantity of imports grew by 4.62% at 10,189.7 MT compared to 9,739.8 MT during the corresponding month last year.
Imports for the first eight months of the fiscal year 2025-26 has reported a growth of 42.48% at $138.22 million YoY as compared to $97.01 million a year ago.
